MALIBU CREEK STATE PARK, California (Fox 32 News) - A father camping with his two little girls was shot dead on Friday.
Tristan Beaudette, 35, was in his tent at Malibu Creek State Park when he was shot. The little girls, ages 2 and 4, were in the tent but not hurt. Beaudette's wife Erica is a doctor and had not gone on the camping trip because she needed to study for a test.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is still investigating, the Los Angeles Times reported.
